About Us

Ilhaam Institute was founded with the central aspiration of supporting the growth of young Muslims in the UK as they begin to take their first steps towards independent learning of Islam and explore the inner workings of how the religion operates, beyond what is taught at weekend madaaris (schools).

Ilhaam’s goal is to facilitate this growth by navigating them through the intricacies of Islam and shaping their character around the Prophet Muhammad. Over time, we pray that the student finds the institute as a source for positive growth and are empowered towards playing a critical role in rectifying the issues facing the Muslim community and society at large.

The name Ilhaam comes from the Arabic root (لهم) which is to inspire. The institute aspires to inspire the next generation with a correct and orthodox understanding of Islam whilst also establishing a healthy balance between practicing it tenants and operating in the west.

Ilhaam Institute aims to establish and build bonds with like-minded individuals, providing a safe platform to build a mentorship program. The program will begin with mentorship but hopes to expand further to cater to this important age range in several niche programs that addresses issues faced by them at this critical stage in their life.
